Maria is entering her 32nd year journey in education.  Maria has had the privilege of nurturing hope and resilience in the hearts of at-risk youth. The inner-city of Phoenix and the White Mountain Apache reservation have been her classrooms, where every challenge faced was an opportunity to empower and inspire.

Becoming a National Dropout Prevention Specialist stands as a testament to the belief that every student holds potential waiting to be unlocked. With a B.A.E and Principal Certificate from NAU, and an M.A.Ed. from The University of Phoenix, Maria’s educational path has been as enriching as the lives she has touched.
