FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tucson, AZ (May 13, 2026) — Legacy Learning Community is proud to announce the opening of its third campus, scheduled to welcome students in grades K-12 in Fall 2026 in Tucson, Arizona. The new campus will focus primarily on special education, including students with visual or hearing impairment, expanding Legacy Learning Community’s mission to provide inclusive, student-centered learning environments designed to help every child thrive.
Building on the success of its existing programs, Legacy Learning Community’s Tucson location will offer specialized academic programming, individualized support, and a nurturing school culture tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with learning differences. The school is designed to partner closely with families, educators, and the broader Tucson community to create meaningful educational outcomes for students who benefit from personalized instruction.
“Families in Tucson have made it clear that there is a deep need for high-quality, compassionate special education options,” said Mary Kline, Legacy Learning Community Executive Director. “This new campus is about listening to that need and responding with a school built around individualized support, dignity, and belonging. Our goal is to fill a need in Tucson and continue our mission to educate underserved students and communities, and to partner with families to ensure every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a setting designed specifically for them.”
The new campus reflects Legacy Learning Community’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to specialized education and to meeting the increasing demand for schools that prioritize individualized learning and student success. Like Legacy Learning Community’s other locations, this new Tucson school will be an Arizona Department of Education approved private special education school, with classes taught by ADE-certified teachers. Tuition is free for most students.
